CyVerse is a free-to-use, open source NSF-funded project committed to providing cyberinfrastructure resources to the life sciences. Planet Microbe is a project, which integrates with CyVerse resources to provide services to users including: the authentication system (OAuth2) for secure single sign-on between Planet Microbe and all CyVerse services; the CyVerse Data Store for storing, sharing, and distributing large amounts of data and analyses.

Although users can search and view data in Planet Microbe without a Cyverse account, an eccount is necessary to run tools on our platform. To register with CyVerse and create an account, go to .
