Why call it "iMicrobe"?

iMicrobe relies heavily on cloud resources provided by CyVerse, previously known as the iPlant Collaborative. The name "iMicrobe" is analogous to "iPlant" but for the microbial sciences.

What browser should I use?

iMicrobe is developed for Chrome but should also work in Firefox, IE, and Safari.

Can I use my own data with iMicrobe?

Yes, you can upload your own data to the Data Store using the iMicrobe Dashboard (login required).
